very rude!!

KUALA LUMPUR: Bersih chairman Datuk S. Ambiga said Bersih 4.0 will be held if the Election Commission (EC) does not address his grievances.

Speaking at a dinner party the Socialist Party of Malaysia (PSM) in Kuala Lumpur yesterday, Ambiga stressed that the demonstration would be held if the EC continues to implement the delimitation of constituencies and states without "clean" list of voters.

"This (Net 4.0) is not a threat but a guarantee. We will organize to prove we are serious," she said.

Ambiga claimed to have sufficient evidence to show his electoral rolls in Sabah and Malaysia need to be cleaned.

Ambiga, however, said they have not decided the date for holding the Bersih 4.0. "I want to see their response prior dahalu. I want them to show commitment to clean up the electoral roll," she said.

"If redrawing is done now, we have to accept it ... and no change will occur," she added.

The EC had previously asserted that voter rolls are constantly updated from time to time based on public information.

However the body has rejected opposition claims that the voter list so contaminated undermine the credibility of the election itself.
